Thresholds Psychotherapy
Nancy MacMillan, RP, has a background working in acute, palliative, and geriatric healthcare. In her private practice, Thresholds Psychotherapy, Nancy works with individuals to guide what seeks attention, understanding, and transformation. Her gentle approach helps clients to become more grounded, to trust their process, and to feel safe in exploring their inner world, feelings, relationships, dreams and life goals.
Living Deeply
Finding Our Rudder in Daily Life
Nancy creates the space for self-reflection and insight through simple practices to help stabilize the nervous system. Engaging body, heart, and mind, along with deep and loving self-acceptance, can lead to gradual integration and transformation.
Life stories, movement, art, rituals, focusing, stillness, prayer and nature are elements that may be introduced for healing.

Attuning to what is precious in our life…
Dying Well
The Call to the Far Shore
Nancy has both personal and professional experience working with individuals and families experiencing illness, dying and death.
Please consider getting support for difficult treatment decisions, meeting fear, grieving losses, and tending and mending relationships.
Exploring how to die well is something we all are called to do. There is no right answer; however, engaging with the reality of our dying time is necessary work.
She can help in the creation of a Words of Life / Legacy document that brings the threads of your unique life together for your family and loved ones.
She can suggest ways of creating heartful, meditative circles of care that loved ones can participate in which provide true support.
Final Days planning can include advance care directives, deathcare guidance, the use of ceremony and ritual, bereavement and grief work, and ways to keep an ongoing connection with loved ones after death.

It is work to be born, and it is work to die.
